These terms apply to your use of Garden Centre Scout. By using the site you accept them. In them, "the operator of this site" means whoever runs this website; how to reach them is on the contact page.
What the service is
Garden Centre Scout is an information directory that helps you plan a visit to garden centres. It is not a booking, ordering or payment service, and it is not run by or affiliated with the centres it lists.
No guarantee of accuracy or availability
Records come from public and third-party sources, may be incomplete or out of date, and can contain mistakes in addresses, opening hours or facilities. The site is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or kept for any length of time.
Check the official source
Before you travel or rely on a listing, confirm opening hours, facilities and anything else that matters to you directly with the centre or its official website. Do not rely on this site alone for decisions that matter.
Third-party data and attribution
Map and place data includes data from OpenStreetMap, © OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database Licence (ODbL) 1.0. Other sources are named on the data and attribution page. Third-party data stays subject to the terms of its owners.
Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the site: no attempts to break, overload or probe it, no automated scraping that harms the service, and no attempts to access other people's accounts.
- Do not submit unlawful, abusive or misleading content in correction reports, and do not include personal information in them.
- Do not use the site in a way that breaks the law or the rights of others.
Accounts
An account lets you save centres. Keep your sign-in details secret and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You can delete your account at any time from the "My" page. What happens to your data is described in the privacy policy.
Suspension and termination
We may limit, suspend or close an account, or restrict access to the site, if these terms are broken or to protect the site and other people. You may stop using the site at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator of this site is not responsible for losses or costs that result from using or being unable to use the site, or from relying on its information, including a wasted journey. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may change these terms as the site changes. The "Last updated" date above shows the current version. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
